On 28th of May 2021 , 16 year old Sam haycock and friends went to ulley country park to celebrate the last day of school and finishing exams. Whilst walking round the reservoir tragedy struck and Sam lost his life.
Sam was a lovable very popular young lad with a passion for judo. He won many medals competing for miramar judo club across the UK and EU.
This devastating event has forever changed the lives of sams family and friends.
After loosing Sam we decided to set up Sam's Army's Mission 1 Life to help raise funds to help prevent anyone else suffering in the same way they have.
Our main aim is to increase awareness of the dangers associated with swimming in open waters. We raise funds to provide the necessary life saving equipment in and around our open waters.
Our main goal is to help save at least 1 life.
We are a registered organisation.
